Once Human: All Weapons Tier List — Way of the Winter Scenario
Once Human is a mixed fruit salad of different game genres, which just seems to hit all the right spots. Whether you are a fan of RPGs, horror games, survival sandboxes, or competitive shooters, Once Human contains a little bit of everything. While it seems adventurous to listen to your gut and change your weapons according to every situation, the trial-and-error method will consume your precious gameplay hours.
Moreover, you can’t just pick your weapons and gear to tackle just one aspect of the game. Say your weapons are suitable for the Stardust zombies but unyielding against bosses and ineffective against human players; you won’t survive for long. Adding to the troubles, there are over 80 weapons in the game, making it hard to make all the right choices. Therefore, this Once Human Weapons Tier list will help you make the most out of your current weapon arsenal, let’s get started:
Note: The Way of the Winter Scenario has introduced a couple of new high-tier weapons. So, we have included those in the list to keep everything updated.
Blogs Once Human: Weapons Tier List — Way of the Winter
There is a weapon for every playstyle, every build, every situation, and every event in Once Human. However, choosing the right weapons for each condition comes down to the player’s personal preferences. For example, if you like to go loud, then choose an LMG; if you like to blow things up, then there’s your RPG; and if you like ninja style, then there is a variety of melee weapons waiting for you. So, it was pretty difficult for us to rank all these weapons in different categories or Tiers. Still, we have tried our best and taken votes from almost every team member, so it is probably the only democratic Tier list on the internet.
Blogs SS Tier
There are just too many good weapons in Once Human, and we had a hard time assigning them a Tier. That’s why we have added a new Special Super Tier, or SS for short. This Tier contains all the best weapons acknowledged by almost every player. Feel free to use any of these weapons in both PvP and PvE scenarios, as they are extremely versatile and effective against all enemies.
Blogs S Tier
Next up, the S Tier contains even more great weapons in the game. The only reason why we didn’t include them in the SS Tier is that some of them lack the ability to exploit environmental hazards. However, they are far easier to acquire than the SS Tier weapons. So, if you can’t find any of those, feel free to stick with these contestants until you find a better alternative. Even if you don’t find something better, they are capable to last until the endgame sequence.

Blogs A Tier
If you are currently somewhere around level 20 to 25, you probably won’t have access to most of the weapons from the first two Tiers. Worry not; you will eventually find those blueprints as you progress through the main story. Till then, it would be best to choose your arsenal from our A Tier weapons. Again, they are good for the early to mid-game progression, but you must switch to a better alternative later on in the game. While most of these options pack enough firepower to down any enemy, we recommend that you use a few weapon mods and calibrations to polish them.

Blogs B Tier
Coming down to our last 2 Tiers in the Once Human weapon Tier list. The guns included in this Tier are mostly the base versions and lower-grade variations. While they aren’t the absolute best, you may still find them useful in certain situations. However, they do make up an outstanding arsenal for the early game when you are still exploring the regions and building your own territory. You can use these B Tier weapons to hunt animals, kill basic zombies, and get through the first few quests. Oh, and you should never carry any of these weapons in PvP servers or else you will get chewed raw.

Blogs C Tier
Finally, we have our last Tier in this Once Human weapons list. The only way you can use this information is to learn which weapons to avoid for a smooth gameplay experience. Ow, and don’t bother; we have already tried combining them with Memetics Specializations but failed. Overall, these weapons include mostly base variants, useless melee weapons, and common items that you can scavenge from pretty much everywhere.

Blogs Overall Best Weapons in Each Category
Once Human appreciates the diversity in playstyles around the globe and encourages everyone to try and find their own sweet spot. However, such an unrestricted approach often leaves players clueless for a while as they try to find their perfect gear. In this regard, weapons play an important role in the game’s experience.
According to Reddit, players with top-Tier weapons are far more successful than those with A or B Tier guns. Furthermore, the weapons in Once Human are divided into 8 main categories, making it even tougher to choose the best ones out there. Here are the top-tier guns from each weapon category to help you with that part:
Blogs Best Pistol in Once Human
R500 Memento The R500 — Memento is definitely the best pistol in Once Human. This sidearm is so powerful that many players have even opted for it as their primary weapon of choice. The Fast Gunner buff is the selling point of this pistol. Basically, the R500 lacked in fire rate and Mag capacity while offering a ton of damage output. So, the Fast Gunner buff makes up for these deficiencies, and it even stacks up to 5 times, making it the absolutely best pistol in its category. |
Blogs Best Assault Rifle in Once Human
M416 Scorched Earth or Autumn Equinox The new Way of the Winter Scenario brings three variations of the M416 Assault Rifle. While we are still debating on the Fortress Rush of the Silent Anabasis, the Scorched Earth and Autumn Equinox rifles are absolute no-brainers. Both guns have similar fire rates and base DMG, but their main power lies in their ability to exploit the new Temperature System. The Scorched Earth shoots fire bullets that inflict Burn Damage, whereas the Autumn Equinox inflicts Frost Damage in Cold Zones. In any case, if you are playing in the latest PvE Scenario, we suggest that you drop everything and pick up both of these rifles as your primary tools. |
Blogs Best LMG in Once Human
MG4 Predator Even though we got a new MG4 variant in the recent update, the MG4 — Predator has maintained its top position as the best LMG in Once Human. This gun is an absolute beast in the right hands, or any hands, if you say. Personally, we enjoyed its Fast Gunner Buff so much that we even dropped our M416s. Adding to the toppings, consecutive hits on any target ramp up the base Damage by a whopping 2%, up to a maximum of 40%. Lastly, you will gain an additional 40% Damage boost if you have at least 50% Magazine left. In short, this LMG is the relentless powerhouse for Weakpoints and Critical Damage Builds. |
Blogs Best SMG in Once Human
MPS7 Outer Space Even though everyone else is opting for the KV-SBR - Little Jaws SMG, we took our chances and went for the MPS7 — Outer Space. At first, it seemed like a downgrade, considering the lower Mag Capacity and the lack of Unstable Bomber buff. However, the Power Surge buff quickly took control and unleashed the true beast hidden inside this SMG. The gun comes with a 25% base chance to trigger Power Surge which rises up to 100% when you tick all the boxes. |
Blogs Best Sniper Rifle in Once Human
AWS.338 Bingo - Bullseye The AWS. 338 — Bullseye has been dominating the Once Human sniper scene since the first season. It has maintained its position as the top contender in the second season as well, despite many changes to the HAMR family. What we loved about this gun is its devastatingly high Damage output and a sure kill on virtually every shot. Furthermore, the Bullseye bonus highlights the enemies and makes them vulnerable for a few seconds, giving you the opportunity to maintain chain strikes across the field. So, if you are looking for slow yet devastating damage output, the Bullseye is your no-brainer for the Sniper category. |
Blogs Best Melee Weapon in Once Human
Stun Baton Ah, the good ol’ hack-and-slash tools that we love in almost every survival game. While there is much debate on the Frozen Northern Pike as a weapon, we only consider it a good food for dinner. Instead, we play Once Human with a Tier V Stun Baton and Shock Rampage as its base mod. This weapon is so strong that it cuts the zombies like a hot knife on butter and even deals some serious damage to the Elites. What we actually love about this bad boy is its Power Surge boost, combine it with the MPS7 — Outer Space, and you get yourself a homerun in every situation. |
Blogs Best Bow in Once Human
Compound Bow Even though there is a large variety of shiny crossbows in Once Human, the friendly Compound Bow comes out right at the top. This simple yet effective weapon can be a silent killer once you master its physics. Contrary to the crossbows, the Compound Bow offers a whopping 310 base DMG with an additional +10% Crit DMG and +6 Reload Speed on every successful strike, stacking up to three times. Furthermore, it even triggers Unstable Bomber on max stacks, and every successful hit boosts its DMG by up to 18%; how good is that! |
Blogs Best Shotgun in Once Human
ACS12 — Pyroclasm Starter The KVD — Boom! Boom! has received a serious competitor after the recent Way of the Winter update. The ACS12 — Pyroclasm Starter is undoubtedly the ultimate best shotgun in Once Human ever. With a base Damage that stacks with every shot to the Burn status effect, everything about this bad boy is sizzling hot. Personally, we loved the fact that all our ammo turned into Dragon’s Breath upon reload, increasing the total DMG by up to 80% per shot, and it lasted for a while due to the increased Mag Capacity. Overall, no matter how you like to wield your shotgun, the ACS12 — Pyroclasm Starter won’t disappoint you in any possible way! |
Blogs Conclusion
That sums up our Once Human All Weapons Tier list for the Way of the Winter Scenario. Hopefully, it will help our fellow Metas choose the best weapons for their playstyle. We took our time in researching everything for you, now it is your turn to give us a bit of your time and check out the rest of our website. Till next time, Happy Hunting!
