Instead, the only way to get Automatic Parts is to collect special scraps like military gadgets and disassemble them on your disassembly bench, pretty much like Fireproof Plastic. However, you can only find these special scraps in high-level areas around the Red Sand Region (level 48). So, you better pack the best weapons and armor sets when going on your bounty hunt. Lastly, you must collect special components, bring them back to your camp, and disassemble them to acquire Automatic Parts. Here are the best areas to farm Automatic Parts in Once Human:
Blackfell Fallen Zone: (4266, -1337)
The Red Sand is a pretty huge desert region located in the northern corner of the world map. Fortunately, there are plenty of buildings and houses waiting for you to loot around every corner. Once you completely loot everything in the Blackfell Fallen Zone, turn eastward and go to the Evergreen area (follow these coordinates). Even though it is a pretty small town with very few houses, they are all loaded with loot crates. Being a Red Sand area, you are bound to find scraps and parts that you can disassemble to get Automatic Parts. Oh, and there are no enemies in this zone, so feel free to loot as much as you like without any dangers.
Blackfell Oil Field: (5349, -1531)
Things start to get serious as soon as you are ready to exploit the next areas in the Red Sands region. If you are eager to loot everything, your next destination is surely going to be the Blackfell Oil Fields. This region is crawling with Rosetta enemies who will drop the scraps that you desperately need. Furthermore, this resource-rich area will definitely force you to make a few trips back to your base to make room in your inventory (we found 100x parts here). 73 Extraction Point: (2835, -1720)
It seems all resource hunts lead to the 73 Source Extraction Point, which is how important this area seems in the game. Again, it is filled with high-level Rosetta Troops so you better bring your best tools. On the bright side, being a military base, you are bound to find some extraordinary items in this particular location. Overall, we suggest that you should only visit this place after creating some grade V weapons using Automatic Parts.
Fort Eyrie: (3272, -2786)
Another day, another military facility to exploit for your gains. Fort Eyrie is located on the southern edge of the Red Sands region, so you must bring a fast vehicle and loads of fuel. Again, this facility is filled with level 50 foes and a few Elites, so don’t forget to bring a powerful weapon. However, you will find plenty of military items to disassemble into Automatic Parts, making it worth your long, tiresome journey.
Alternate Reality Research Institute: (6845, -1611)
Finally, we have the Alternate Reality Research Institute, another confidential military facility that holds a ton of special scrap items. You can find this region on the western edge of the map (just ahead of the level 50 region). We found a few mutants in our run to the facility, so make sure to bring some remedies. Overall, this institute is probably the best place to farm Automatic Parts in Once Human if you are up for the challenging task.
