Blogs Where to find Silver Ores?
Silver is among the rarest crafting materials in V Rising. The Silver Ore Veins are usually found in a late-game area. However, these areas are filled with high-level foes. So, you should reach at least character level 60 before going after the Silver Ores.
Moreover, you will also need a Merciless Iron Mace, Sword, or Axe to damage the veins and harvest Silver Ores. Lastly, you should activate the Worker’s Blood as it increases your mining and gathering rate by more than double.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to getting Silver Ores in V Rising:
Blogs Best Place to Farm Silver Ore:
Silver Ore being a rare metal, only spawns in a secluded region of the world map. In other words, you can only harvest Silver ores from the Silverlight Hills. This region is located on the northwestern end of the world map. Once you reach character level 60, head to the northwestern corner of the map. Here, you will find a few Silver veins that spawn randomly around the area. However, if you seek a reliable source, you should go further northwest to find the Sacred Silver Mines.
Blogs Best Silver Mining Strategy:
Harvesting Silver Ores isn’t as easy as collecting other common resources. Moreover, the road to the Sacred Silver Mines is filled with level 60 and higher level foes. So, you must have a clear strategy in mind before you set out on your journey. In this regard, you should stock as many Silver Resistance Potions or Brews as possible.
Secondly, you will also need a Merciless Iron Mace or Axe and the recipe to forge Dark Silver Ingots by defeating Octavian, the Militia Captain in Bastion of Dunley Farmlands. Lastly, you will need either the rat transformation or the bear transformation if you wish to defeat the hordes of enemies in this location.
Blogs Get Silver Ores:
Now that you are appropriately equipped for the dangerous journey, head straight to the Sacred Silver Mines in northwestern Silverlight Hills. You can transform into a rat or a human to pass through the route undetected. Next, transform into the bear form and defeat the patrolling enemies at the gates of the Sacred Silver Mines.
Once you are inside, start hitting the Silver Veins with your Mace to collect Silver Ores. If you encounter any enemies, now simply transform to your Bear Form and go on a rampage mission. Finally, the Worker Blood Type will come in handy as it increases the number of Silver Ores that you collect by damaging each Silver vein.
Note: Vampires are allergic to anything made out of Silver. So, your HP will start deteriorating when you have even a single Silver Ore in your inventory. So, you should drink the Silver Resistance Potion or the Silver Resistance Brew to negate the damaging effect. Secondly, the HP degradation will increase as you gather more ores. Therefore, it would be best to quickly gather all the Silver ores you need and head back to your castle.
Blogs Refine the Silver Ores:
The final step in your journey is to use the Silver Ores that you collected to make Dark Silver Ingots. For this purpose, the Dark Silver Ingot Recipe will come in handy. So, first head to the Bastion of Dunley and defeat Octavian: the Militia Captain to unlock Silver crafting.
Next, you need to place 20 (15) Silver Ores and 1x Scourgestone in the furnace to craft 1x Dark Silver Ingot. Moreover, the Dark Silver won’t damage your health when placed in the inventory. So, feel free to craft as many Ingots as you wish without worrying about losing your HP.
Blogs How to collect Silver without losing HP?
As mentioned above, your HP will start deteriorating as long as there is anything made of Silver (coins, ores, and ingots) in your inventory. The amount of health you lose over time depends on the number of Silver Ores you have in the bag.
Fortunately, you can negate this debuff by consuming Silver Resistance Potions or Silver Resistance Brew. You can craft these items at the Alchemy Table in your castle. Alternatively, you can also store it in your inventory as Dark Silver Ingot as it doesn’t cause the HP degradation in that form.
Blogs Conclusion
Silver is one of the rarest metals in the V Rising resources. This precious resource only spawns in the Silverlight Hills, especially in the Sacred Silver Mine. However, the area is filled with level 60 and higher enemies. So, it would be best to reach at least character level 60 before you start exploring the region. That being said, you won’t have any trouble getting your hands on all the Silver ores you need in V Rising.
